Jim ignored him and ate another prune from the mission fruit pack that he had brought with him.

In the distance a rumble of heavy unicorn dreams shattered across a hazed landscape and a million miniature lights propelled themselves across the night sky. Barely visible from the battered van where Sally lay, she held close the memory of Leningrad and he cacophony of ancient spirits resounded in her head.

Here had been better. Better than any foreign clime. Better than the heated exchanges she witnessed all those years before, but somehow the shadows still came at night when the city slept and her mind awoke. A tortured history had imbedded a hatred and torment that no unicorn dream could quash. This was better, but so different…..

Blimey! I start using these blogs with all good intention but fail at the first hurdle!
It’s been a busy year, 3 weddings and a few portrait shoots and I’m looking forward to what delights 2011 will bring and we’re already in March!
Where does the time go?
This blog will be a testing ground in future for my new hobby of “ranlit”, my own art form of basically chatting rubbish but in an amusing and surreal way that could be interesting for the reader in a sort of nonsensical kind of way! Watch this space………….

I know it’s old hat now but I watched Avatar on Sunday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure if I’d like to be 9ft tall and blue myself and can’t understand why hundreds of Americans (in particular) ended up going in to therapy after seeing it! Mad world.

Gotta go and shoot the practice for the judo competition tonight. Looking forward to it! I’ve not done a sports assignment yet and want to stry and catch the action as best I can. I will post some images on my website once I’ve edited them.

Shooting a Judo competition on 1st June. That’ll be a new one on me! Better brush up on my Shutter Priority skills!

I also can’t wait for Su & Mo’s Wedding in September. You should see the Limo they’ve hired, looks about 40 foot long!
